Trine 2: Complete Story - Valve
Trine 2 Beta 4th update 18 November 2011:

Major improvements:

- added the Beta for Mac
- added support for NVIDIA 3D Vision

Technical:

- fixed several issues with controllers
- fixed minor things in the Launcher (resolutions, refresh rate choices update, background image disappear)

Multiplayer:

- fixed the Knight's shield "leaking" with high latency
- fixed Wizard animation not always being restored in the Tutorial in a multiplayer game
- fixed "Hosting Online Game" and "Connecting" message screens issues
- fixed toggling Multiple Mice & Keyboards option causing a controller disconnection
- fixed controller hintmessages not being shown for the local player properly
- changed text chat to not break words

Usability:

- added ability to change controller type in the Game Settings/Host Game menu
- added Network Settings menu
- added Microphone menu
- added version number to Main Menu
- added support for ESC to close loading screen window

- added framerate counter (options.txt in %APPDATA%/Trine2, set "ShowFPS" to true)

Trine 2 Beta update 1 November 2011:

General improvements:

- online text chat now accepts longer sentences, displays client numbers properly, and works better in general
- game now uses/saves the settings from the Launcher during first startup (this was due to missing AppData/.../Trine2 folder)
- 4:3 displays now uses slightly different FOV that should make sure no unintended graphics are shown (outside of the the actual art)

Technical fixes:

- added Steam minidump information (map + position) for easier debugging
- fixed "invisible players" issue/crash
- fixed a crash related to firewall blocking
- fixed a user interface potential crash ("ButtonCatcher")
- fixed a crash related to Hail of Arrows Achievement

  • Tweaked Steam Achievement "Still no fireball" requirement from 500 to 200 objects
  • Added new resolutions to the Launcher (uncommon resolutions can still be added by editing options.txt and setting the resolution with lines screen_height_and screen_width)
  • Added support for manually configuring which input devices to use in config\options.txt (player1_keyboard_ID, player1_mouse_ID)
  • Added Turkish language support (text)
  • Fixed "Up" control to no longer make the player jump by default
  • Fixed Windowed mode titlebar support

  • Fixed a rare crash when the player touches a falling rock as it breaks

Note: a check for Radeon 5000 Series (5400-5900) AND Vista/Windows 7 has been added to disable high quality videos that cause random video-related crashes with these systems; this check is disabled with option "force_high_quality_video = 1" (which may be useful if e.g. new graphics drivers fix the problem eventually).
