Introducing new update and Halloween lootbo... freeboxes
It's that time of year when everybody expects to be scared. Hopefully, word "lootbox" is scary enough - so here it is captains! But, to avoid confusion, our lootboxes are scary because of the appearance, nothing else. No money will exchange hands here.
Besides temporary Halloween goodies, we've also released an entire update with a number of changes and improvements. Changelog is here:
The whole encounter fleet scaling system completely redesigned.
Two different scaling systems, depending on both the player's and the fleet owner's faction power introduced
Notoriety system with the non-outlaw factions of the Gemini (The encountering fleets' power is determined by how much notoriety the player has with the owning faction. Notoriety is reduced only by time)
Outlaw-like factions face fleet diminishing depending on how much beating they've been taking lately. Their power is able to recover over time.
Freelance mission rewards significantly increased while the difficulty remains the same
Destruction Convoy raid and Survey missions partial rewards increased
Freelancer perk effect increased
Endpoint DLC mission 5 issue fixed (Player would get a new set of weapons, leading to possible loss of a more valuable set already equipped. The game will now store the existing weapons in the ship inventory)
Endpoint DLC Mission log fully implemented (The Log will come with a retroactive fix, meaning it will update the Mission log for the player, no matter which part of the quest chain the player is at currently. This means no new game is necessary.)
Further script optimization
Important note on Halloween freeboxes
Halloween reward containers scattered through the Gemini and are available in ALL game scenarios (including the A'shriari)
The Halloween reward boxes contains either a Trick or a Treat
The Halloween containers can come as a single unit, or as a pack of up to 5 boxes
And finally, since we stuffed the game with new goodies, it is appropriate to offer a sizeable discount and allow you gentleman an easier access to all of it. So, during Halloween days you can get ALL Starpoint Gemini games for next to nothing.
For the next few days, our publisher is offering his portfolio of games at amazing discounts. Our entire space franchise is also available, from vintage original game, all the way to recently released Endpoint DLC for latest game.
Take a peek at our Starpoint Universe, experience the vastness of space and enjoy the games we've enjoyed creating for almost a decade now.
For all of you that love completing bundles, know that all three Starpoint sequels to date, are now finished and all planned expansions have been released. If you're interested in somewhat deeper and unique space experience, you've got no more reason to delay :)
List of goodies we offer to fight the weekend boredom is below:
Endpoint, the fifth and final DLC for Starpoint Gemini Warlords is now available. Endpoint concludes the Starpoint Gemini Warlords storyline and features a branching narrative. The DLC is available now on Steam for $6.99.
To mark the occasion, the acclaimed base game, Starpoint Gemini Warlords is at an historic 75% discount in a Steam Weekend Deal, with the rest of the Starpoint Gemini franchise also available at discounts ranging from 50 to 85%.
The launch of Endpoint also marks the introduction of the Starpoint Gemini Warlords Gold Pack bundle, containing the base game, the Digital Deluxe Edition, and all DLC, at a bundle discount of 25%, compared to separate purchases. This discount is on top of the Weekend Deal discount.
Many years have passed since the Solari Concord successfully established a foothold in Gemini – but they haven't stopped there; a combination of rising military strength and persuasive diplomacy has caused them to become the leading power in Gemini. After such a long period of turmoil, most other factions became exhausted, and were eager to side with anyone strong enough to provide some sort of stability.
The Gemini Protectorate, successor to the legendary Gemini League, is cornered, and controls only a small region of space, and another cut off enclave, when the Concord reaches its borders.
The Protectorate High Command is still not willing to yield, but options are few...what will be the price of survival?
