The playtest will close this Thursday, October 30th.

We received incredibly helpful feedback and suggestions from players in Germany, Korea, Poland, and Russia—thank you! Unfortunately, we didn't receive any comments regarding translations from players in China, Japan, France, and Spain. As a result, we'll be pushing our current translation files to the Demo version in the coming days, and we sincerely hope the community playing that version will be willing to help us polish them up.

In addition to the translations, we've prepared some interesting updates for you that will be part of the Demo, including the long-requested option to rotate the camera!

    • Save system fixed — your cash register now saves correctly.

    • Fixed a bug where clients could get stuck at the register.

  • 📉 Reputation bug fixed — reputation no longer fluctuates randomly.

  • ⏱️ Cashier speed rating fixed — now correctly affects your reputation.

  • 💬 Improved dialogues and their audible range for better immersion.

Now down to business. We've released the third major update for the S.E.M.I. - Side Effects May Include... demo. Inside you'll find new content, mechanics, and numerous improvements.

📢 MAJOR CHANGES AND NEW FEATURES
  1. Weapon Throwing. Go crazy not just from the environment, but from new features! Pick up a weapon with the E key, hold LMB to charge your throw, and release to send your "argument" flying. You can hit both enemies and other patients - on your conscience.

  2. Weapon Durability. No more endlessly whacking people with cucumbers. Weapons now can break from overuse. Take care of them!

  3. Upgraded Guard. Our staff member has completed training courses. He's now much more dangerous and can send you flying with one hit. Don't provoke him!

  4. Voice Chat (Push-to-talk). Finally coordinate your escape or just scream into the microphone by holding the assigned key.

  5. Korean Language Support. Our clinic is reaching a new international level!

🔧 IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES
  1. Fixed the most common network bugs (huge thanks for your bug reports!).

  2. Added new skins for variety.

  3. Improved game interface - going crazy has become more convenient.

  4. Enhanced environments in some rooms.

  5. Fixed an annoying bug that allowed escaping the map using one of the abilities.

  6. Added new sounds and visual effects for complete immersion.

  7. Running animations look more natural (as much as possible in our case).

  8. Rebalanced weapon and ability damage.

  9. Fixed other minor bugs that hindered therapy enjoyment.

Our next update for Train Sim World 6 is now live. This update includes key fixes for issues that have been fed back to us by the community, such as a fix for the TSW6 Free Starter Pack pricing issue, profile transfers for PS4 players, announcement fixes, further improvements to train faults and much, much more. The Fife Circle Sprinter timetable has also been added, along with improvements for the Scotrail Class 158.

Highlights

Core:

  • Fixed profile transferring for PS4 players.

  • Fixed an issue causing the Free Starter Pack to link to purchasing the Standard, Deluxe or Special versions of TSW6.

  • Fixed Train Faults so they no longer occur every couple of seconds.

  • Fixed an issue causing announcements to miss certain station names. Some announcements are still missing, but we are continuing to implement these.
