Once again seek out the experimental vaccine that may hold the key humanities very survival! But it would seem that Biotec security was unable to either handle the horde invading... or was it from within?

As promised we've released our much anticipated Zombie Panic: Source Biotec Remake (Escape & Hunted Game-Modes), Stone Creek (Escape Game-Mode but in many ways Survival gameplay) the most popular Workshop map now in our Official rotation, our new Melee System that is not only much more user friendly but now with bladed weapons can more than cut off limbs but now decapitate zombies as well!

Of course we updated all existing maps with improvements, optimization, bug fixes, and exploits being removed.

• Added gasmask objective item that prevents harmful chemicals from affecting player
  
• Added gasmask voice muffling for survivors
  
• Added Keycard objective item for unlocking security doors
  
• Added keycard entity system for mappers
  
• Added Zombie Decapitation with bladed weapons (Kabar not included)
  
• Updated Melee System (WIP for balance) with decapitation
  
• Improved navigation mesh for all existing maps
  
• Changes to networking system in an attempt to fix LAN related issues
  
• Kill Cam with the above mentioned bladed weapons also decapitate zombies when using stealth kill
  
• Fixed weapon holstering issues
  
• Fixed exploits, issues, and bugs on all maps from bug reports by the community (Thank you!)

Our Free DLC is in the works and coming along nicely and again will include 4 New Characters, 4 New Weapons, 2 New Maps, and 1 new game-mode. There will be other updates before and after as well as a second Free DLC bundle with amount of content not too long after but this in no way impedes our ability to further optimize and improve our game.

This week we're checking out the incredible title Cave Story+ which started out as a free game, was improved and released on Steam, and now has a Nintendo 3D remake out there!

The much talked about Outlast which has been a game many have requested I Stream for "Contagious Gaming" and have yet to actually try yet but look forward to doing so.

and Finally from SuperGiant Games who made the fantastic Indie Game Bastion we'll be playing their latest release Transistor which is another title I've had sitting in my Library for when I had time to get lost in a game. I'm quite excited to see how this holds up to Bastion.

This will be our last week of "Contagious Gaming" for awhile as next week we will be returning to "Friday Frenzy" and Contagion Giveaways again as we are about to release this months update and would like to show it off!

I know you're all eagerly awaiting our upcoming update with new maps and more but as we finalize the release we're also still quite euphoric as Alex Wright (Monochrome LLC, COO & Lead Animator) just has his first born "Colby Wright" and is at the hospital with his wife and soon to return home to finish up what little he has left for this update. We welcome our 3rd Contagion Baby to the family!

Also very important we got the servers up and running and indeed found that not only did Valve servers go down but when they came back up new .dlls were not distributed to our host but Don from Gameservers.com sorted it all out and you should be able to join our Official Servers via the Server Browser again (tested fine for me)!

Lastly here is our weekly update of our Official Contagion Comic. Pages 10 and 11 for "Contagion: Break Down" and we've got 3 pages planned for next week as things... Break Down!
