To be honest, this update doesn't bring large changes to the game. But small changes can be important too!
Please note: Most of the new features are available in the demo, but you can gain access unlimited game in Warnament's closed beta for as much as $0.99! It includes multiplayer mode, full technology tree, 3 more political institutions, scenario editor & a standalone map editor app.
Added darkening effect along the borders of all countries on the map
Improved balance. Now it's too much easier to improve infrastructure, and improving infrastructure gives you a lot of benefits.
Bots became a bit smarter (of course, not as smart as you, but they are trying!). Now they better organize the army, change the tax rate, and set the budget.
Bug fixes and performance optimization (as always)
If you haven't done so already, please add Warnament to your wishlist on Steam! It is a very important metric for us, which brings the release of the game closer:

Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon - OutOfTheBit
Hello everyone!
Here is the second episode of our monthly devlogs following the development of our new cinematic puzzle platformer Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon.
In this episode we share insights on how we are tackling the design of further levels in the game. As level 1 and 2 aim to familiarise the player with the controls and the story, from level 3 onwards we start developing new mechanics and exciting combat encounters.
In this episode we also share our project management system, which we refined while working on our previous game, Full Void.
We also added a couple of bloopers at the end. Just to remind everyone we are developers, not professional Youtubers :)
We hope you enjoy the episode and we'd love to hear your feedback. Please leave your comments and we'll make sure to reply!
If you liked the video, please consider to subscribe to our channel to support us and to be notified whenever a new episode is out. Also, if you have questions you would like to ask the developers, please write them in the comments, and we will answer them in a future devlog.
And don't forget to wishlist Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon on Steam!
Thank you and until next time! The OutOfTheBit Team
We added a cool easter egg! Melbourne experimental label X-Amount Records' 'eyeball' logo appears in a single location in Dryft City. Will you be the first eagle 'eyeball' to spot it? Post a screenshot if you find it! The location will change every update.
Other updates:
Fixed not being able to get your job back post-game.
Fixed button icon to expand/collapse office tasks in GUI displaying if unemployed.
Fixed camera zoom function triggering upon exiting ryde while using gamepad.
Fixed getting frozen when exiting ryde after driving out of Bluebie Island Track.
Improved the textbox when selecting a Bluebie Island Challenge Dryft by listing challenges newest first, and completed challenges will have a green tick next to their name.
Cloud saves should be working properly, keyword "should", with Dynamic Cloud Sync enabled so you can continue your progress from Steam Deck to a PC without having to quit the session on Steam Deck.
If you run into any issues while playing, please jump in our discord ({LINK REMOVED}HERE) and report it in our đdck-bugs channel! We're actively working on updating and fixing bugs!
Greetings Founders! Iâm trying really hard to make that stick
We have been hard at work on the next update, tinkering away on systems, recipes and buildings - as well as a few surprises. But, I wanted to take some time to show how we have addressed a very common piece of usability feedback, the almighty screen panels.
The Problem
As you know, Foundry features a world space UI on many of our machines, adding a sense of immersion and context as you interact with these devices. Itâs a great mechanism for allowing you fine grained control of a building, even as your factory grows in complexity. We have done a ton of work to make these world space interfaces performant and scale with your builds- but in many dense configurations (or when playing on small screens like the Steam Deck) it can be difficult to both read and interact with these panels. Even more common, is that a friendly loader blocks you from getting right up against the panel.
The Solution
Itâs hard to take credit for this solution, because it was directly suggested numerous times in feedback reports and on the game's official discord. When looking at a screen panel you can now press interact (E) to open up a screen space representation of the UI. This UI is consistently placed in the center of your screen and does not block other screen space UI interactions, like moving around your inventory.
This new UI space panel has much larger, more readable, text. Your mouse opens at the center of the screen each time, and the UI is consistently placed/sized, which means configuration movements will be consistent between panels. And for those prone to it, you also have a locked camera rotation helping reduce nausea.
Right now we have the interaction set so you need to look at the panel to interact with it. We did this because a few buildings have multiple panels, but it may be possible to tweak the system so you can interact with the panel simply by targeting the larger building. We are still unsure if the context of having interacted directly with the panel is worth the loss in usability of being able to sloppily interact with the building. Iâm really looking forward to hearing different thoughts on how this should be rolled out.
Quality Of Life
We have received tons of feedback on how to make the minute to minute experience of Foundry better, but we are always looking for more. Whatâs the one thing you wish we would fix/improve/rework in Foundry to have a better time? Let us know in the comments or on the official discord.
Cheers, -Mark

We are opening the sign-ups for the new Broken Arrow Beta.
We are excited to announce that sign-ups for the new Broken Arrow Beta are now open.
This beta will focus exclusively on the single player story campaign, aimed at gathering comprehensive feedback on the missions.
Any kind of bug you encounter we would like to hear about it, and we would like to hear your thoughts on difficulty, balance, AI, atmosphere, story⌠everything.
Please note that weâre not planning to accept all applicants. Unlike our multiplayer beta, we will be selecting a limited number of testers. This means that applying does not guarantee selection.
Weâre targeting the end of July for the start of the beta. You can apply here.
Important: this will be a closed beta, which means that all testers who are accepted will be under NDA, and under no circumstances they will be allowed to divulge information about the content in the beta outside of the dedicated private channels. The same goes towards Twitch and YouTube: youâre not allowed to stream or make videos and post them. Similarly, you wonât be allowed to capture screenshots and post them. Moreover, you wonât be allowed to post your own thoughts about the beta in public. The NDA will also last indefinitely. Any NDA breach will result in a permanent ban for the offender. Donât test us: we -will- find out.
Show us how thrilled you are!
Alongside your beta application, we would like to see how committed and eager you are to play the Beta. You can increase your chances of being selected for the beta if youâll take part in this little contest: show us your excitement in a video, upload it on www.wetransfer.com or any other preferred transfer platform and send us the link at brokenarrow@slitherine.com alongside the username you used for applying to the beta.
The video can be anything you want as long as it shows your enthusiasm for Broken Arrow, so feel free to be creative and even a bit foolish.
Remember: you can be picked only if you also have applied to the beta. Unless you go through the application process we cannot select you. You will have time until July 30 to make your submission. Please note that we wonât pick testers on a âfirst come first servedâ method, so there is no need to rush in.
