New small update was added to the game, now you can find or buy knives - a weak melee weapon. I've been thinking a lot about how to add more melee weapons to the game and to make them viable, but finally just decided to add knife as a safe option, when you are out of ammo for example.
Also there are small interface improvements, like showing a warning when you are entering federation controlled territory, and small bug fixes.
Other than that I am working on mod support, most of the time, and already have a lot of progress! Can't really say anything about when it releases yet though, but stay tuned for updates!
I decided to unlock a couple of weapons and enrgy shield armor by default. I think this will make first playthroughs a little bit more interesting, as of right now, the selection of equipment can feel a little dry
Armor and helmets now can have bonus stats! This was heavilty requested feature in the past, which should also make equipment more interesting
Sniper rifle now have reduced accuracy in closer distances
Exo-suit now increases armor by 23 instead of 20, and reduces speed by 2, instead of 1
minigun ammo count reduced to 4 from 8

Hello guys! I am still working on mod support, but meanwhile, I was testing a game and decided that basic speed of the characters is too slow, so in new update I decided to increase basic character speed to 5. Improved reflexes ability now increases speed by 1 instead of 2.
This allows you to better get to cover overall and better deal with melee enemies, especially after their upgrade a few weeks ago.
Hello guys, the game was updated with a small patch, which added more interactive elements like activatable lasers and bridges in battles. Other than that, I am mostly adding small improvements and bug fixes, polishing the game more.
Currently I am planning to add mod support for the game, you will be able to add new player classes, items, events and enemies in the game and share it in the steam workshop. It's a huge update, so it will take a long time, and I can't say how long for now. Also I am working on new localising the game on other languages, which obviously will take some time.
Hello guys! I am working on huge content patch right now, which is hopefully be released next week, meanwhile, once again, I wanted to ask a couple of minutes of your time to complete a couple of simple polls to help me improve the game balance.
bleeding and permadeath option changed. Now without permadeath option your soldiers are returning to the ship, if they didn't bleed to death during the battle, and with permadeath option they will disappear, even if they are still bleeding. permadeath now disabled by default and rewards additional 25% glory, if activated
reinforcements during collecting missions now spawn each 5 turns instead of each 4 turns
objectives like crates or survivors now cannot be hidden with fog of war
fixed a couple of small bugs
Right now I am preparing new update with new player class, which should be ready in a week or two.
