  • Increased Axe Trap cost from 1500 to 2200.

  • Elite - Loophole - Max level increased from 10 to 15. Base cooldown decreased from 60 to 40. Cooldown decrease per level decreased from 5 to 2 seconds.
  • Elite - Trait Mastery - Max level increased from 5 to 10. Increment per level decreased from 5% to 2%.
  • Elite - Rune Mastery - Max level decreased from 20 to 5.
  • Elite - Killchain - Max level increased from 10 to 20.

  • Greed - Bribery - Each skill level decreases the percentage of current gold taken and increases the gold requirement. Summons a Demon Lord in place of the bribed unit. At max skill level, the Demon Lord has health equal to the amount of gold spent.

Miscellaneous
  • Each Ascension increases Greed victory condition gold amount by 100%.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Endless mode unlock notice to appear at the wrong level.
  • Minor bug fixes.

  • Decreased costs of the less popular Trap Traits.
  • Increased the cost of Lightning Trap from 800 to 900.
  • Decreased the cost of Hex Trap from 1500 to 1300.
  • Decreased the cost of Bola Trap from 300 to 250.
  • The following traps have been buffed (stat bonus per Mastery level has been increased) - Push Trap, Bola Trap, Spring Trap, Hex Trap, Inferno Trap, Lich Tomb.
  • Empower cost is now refunded when the Empowered Trap is sold in the planning phase.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented loading player's save file.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to exceed Teleporter Trap build count limit.

  • Axe Trap - Improved trap installation UI so that the direction of rotation is more obvious.
  • Fixed a bug that caused crafted permanent runes to disappear.
  • Acquired permanent runes can no longer be dropped from enemy nor crafted from transmutation.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the second consumable slot to disappear.
  • Fixed a bug that caused player statistics to reset (lost statistics will be restored automatically).

Balance Changes
  • Permanent Runes - Ten basic unique runes (Blood, Scythe, Fort, Anchor, Nil, Frenzy, Trinity, Vine, Rust, Purity) are now permanent (once acquired, can be used repeatedly). Their stats have been modified accordingly.
  • Hex Trap - Explosive Frog - Damage increased from fixed 2.0 to 2% of the trap's damage.
  • Hex Trap - Demonic Transformation - Demon stats scale with the trap's mastery level.
  • Firebat Egg - Minion damage increases with item mods increasing consumable trap damage.
  • Enemy damage scaling has been decreased.
  • Endless mode unlock level increased from 20 to 30.

Miscellaneous
  • Various bug fixes.
  • Added Steam Rich Presence support.

New Things
  • Axe Trap - A huge axe is swung around the trap, damaging and hurling units in the vicinity.
  • Empower - Traps upgraded to Tier 3 or higher can now be Empowered, further increasing their stats. Excess gold can be spent this way.
  • Trap Copy & Paste - Trap can now be copied using Ctrl+LMB then pasted using Ctrl+RMB (details are in the Pro Tips section).
Balance Changes
  • Slightly decreased XP gains in high tier maps.
  • Enemy movement speed increases by 0.5% per wave in Endless Mode.
  • Various mastery adjustments.
  • Various price adjustments.
Miscellaneous
  • You can now sort the inventory by pressing the existing help tooltip button.
  • Improved levelup process so that leveling up multiple times is now much quicker.
  • Gold indicator now supports higher number of digits.
  • Experience indicator now supports higher number of digits.
  • Improved Rocket Trap targetting mechanism.
  • Marksmen can now damage structures.
  • Map Generator - will no longer generate maps with portals right next to dungeon entrances.
  • Map Generator - will no longer generate maps with unreachable portals.

  • Various undocumented improvements.

This is a beta version. It can be accessed by:
1. Right-click Dungeon Warfare 2 in Steam Library
2. Click 'Properties'
3. Click 'BETAS' tab
4. Select 'publicbeta'
5. The game will be updated to 1.2.0b automatically. If not, restart Steam.
