Hey All!

I have got a lot of suggestions from players for features they would like to see. I am more than happy to try address all of these suggestions and with the next update I hope to address 2 in particular.
  • Master volume control from main menu settings and in game options
  • Tile identifiers for locations
Now that second item may be something new to some of you but very important to others. The approach I am taking can be seen below:



I am thinking of adding these tiles to every location in the map. That way you can see the name and general idea of the population size without having to click a location.

Anything about it you would like me to change? :)

Hope you are all well and you will be happy to know the update I spoke of is now going live. Took me a while longer than I expected. Hopefully there will be no issues anyways. So what can you expect with this update? :)

Features
  • No launcher when you click play
  • Ability to change quality settings from within options
  • Ability to change resolution from within options
  • Ability to make game fullscreen or not from within options
  • Removal of some more unused elements from various scenes

If you do encounter issues, please do post and let me know. All of these are based around the game startup mainly anyways.

Make sure to keep those requests and general bug reports coming. I shall fix everything I can as soon as I can :)

Hey All!

So I am just finishing up on another update for a feature that has been requested by a number of you. Removal of the launcher and more controls in the options menu! :)

So what shall you expect overall with this update?

Features
  • No launcher when you click play
  • Ability to change quality settings from within options
  • Ability to change resolution from within options
  • Ability to make game fullscreen or not from within options
  • Removal of some more unused elements from various scenes

This update will hopefully release tomorrow to you all anyways!

Hey All!

So another small update is going live there now which contains a few changes based around the camera, as per user feedback on the discussion pages.

Features
  • Remove navigate boundary limits, so users can now navigate into the darkness.
  • When a user clicks close on a location, the camera returns to the previous position.
  • The coat of arms on the minimap is a bit larger and more visible.
  • Various minor UI alignment fixes

Keep that feedback coming! Always happy to make changes for people :)

Hey All!

Hope you are all well and you will be happy to hear another small update is going live now! :)

I have spent most of the morning playing with Unity3d settings trying to remove unused components from the build and disable a lot of things that I and you do not care for. In turn, the install folder is slightly smaller, but more importantly, the game should run a tiny bit smoother as I have removed a lot of overhead telemetry that Unity is performing.

On a side note, I aim to release another update tomorrow which will make some changes to the camera based upon user feedback.

Hey All!

So another update has gone live there now. It may not look like much to see, but I have added extra support so there can be default ones, sharing a bit more of the world history.

In a previous update, I added the clickable skeletons that are left after battles, well I have extended this to have skeletons dotted around the world map upon launch of the game. They are clickable too and this code can also be applied to ruins, which I will add in a future update.


Right now there are only a handful, but going forward I shall add more of them and add more varieties, such as ruins of buildings and so on.

Anyways, thanks again to everyone who is trying out my little game! :)

Hey All!

Just wanted to let you know, I have made a new update available in the past few minutes which contains some useful little features for all you Spymasters :)

Features
  • Shortcut to wedding events from notifications
  • Shortcut to black market from notifications
  • Shortcut to birth event from notifications
  • Shortcut to hostages screen when a new hostage is taken

Fixes
  • Seeing the word Placeholder when you are meant to see plague information
  • Issues with saving of wedding details
  • Removed some useful logging statements

I shall keep the updates coming as quick as I can and thank everyone who is reporting issues and presenting ideas. I am always happy to hear feedback.

Hey All!

So I will have another update going out in the next day or so. This related back to what is seen in previous updates, but to let you all know what to expect.

Features
  • Shortcut to open black market for plague/poison available notifications
  • Shortcut to wedding event for upcoming weddings
  • Shortcut to funeral event
  • Shortcut to coronation event
  • Shortcut to birth event for upcoming royal births
  • Shortcut to volcano for the volcano eruption event
  • Shortcut to hostages screen when a new hostage is taken

Some of these shortcuts are proving rather slow to implement, so apologies for the time between updates! But by the end of all this, hopefully it will make navigating between events a lot simpler and I can start implementing other change requests :)

  • Shortcut to mercenaries finished defending location notification
  • Shortcut to mercenaries arrived to defend location notification
  • Shortcut to plague at border location notification
  • Shortcut to plague in enemy lands notification
  • Shortcut to plague in player lands notification
  • Shortcut to poison in enemy lands notification
  • Shortcut to poison in player lands notification
  • Shortcut to raid location notification
  • Shortcut to reinforce notification
  • Shortcut to relocate notification
  • Shortcut to saboteur success, failed, nothing happened notifications
  • Shortcut to spy reached destination notification
  • Shortcut to plague died notification

Fixes
  • Reduced the population of the Republic of Accipter as it has an unfair advantage
  • Made some load changes to the population section to improve performance and have more accurate reload of population sizes.

Hey All

Thanks to everyone who is reporting the issues they are seeing, you will be glad to know another update is going live now with some important fixes!

Fixes
  • Fixed incorrectly showing loan paid off notification
  • Fixed armies getting stuck when going between close locations
  • Fixed some armies ignoring truce declarations and in turn ruining the truce
  • Various small UI fixes

This may not be a huge update in terms of content, but those fixes should help make the game more stable for you all! :)

In the next update I hope to add some more fixes, but I am also adding some more shortcut links from the notifications.
