Rock, Paper, Shotgun - (Sin Vega)

Going to big social things alone would have been unthinkable a year ago and is still pretty scary. Thanks for being so lovely, everyone.

It’s been a strange week here at the Pleasuredome. Once again, a bud of the Hivemind prepares to detach and spread in-jokes and sinister, fungaloid thoughts about user interfaces to a new, unsuspecting host. And I’d only just confirmed he’s real, too. Bye bye, Adam. Subvert from within, yeah?

Still, on the plus side, I high fived Aby Wolf the other night. And now it’s time for Unknown Pleasures! Heavens.

Shamelessly namedropping far more talented people we’ve briefly orbited this week: chasing rabbits, redirecting lasers, and justifying patricide.

Saddle up that giraffe, because it's time to ride with The Adventure Pals! After years of hard work, we're thrilled to say the game is finally available to play, and we hope you all enjoy it!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us in every way possible while we've been banging away at this, and to everyone who is checking out the game today and in the future. We hope you have fun on your adventures with Sparkles and Mr. Rock, and thank you for giving us this chance to send you out on this wonderful, weird journey.

love and hotdogs,
The Adventure Pals Team

The Adventure Pals will be released for everyone on April 3rd, 2018!

Holy hotdogs, that's just one week from now! Thank you to everyone who has supported us and sent us encouragement, and for your patience as we tweaked, tuned, and hammered everything behind the scenes. We can't wait for you to get to play it!

Our corporate siblings who run EGX Rezzed go on about how it’s a games show with all sorts of video games to play and talks to hear, but in reality it’s a front. Rezzed exists because we believe you will pay money to breathe the same air as RPS staffers, getting some of our air inside you and some of yours in us, but both sides are too embarrassed to publicly acknowledge that. So sure, okay, let’s keep up the facade. For example: Rezzed today announced more of the games playable in London this April, including X-COM co-creator Jullian Gollop’s fine-looking grid ’em up Phoenix Point. (more…)
