Void Invaders - Nosahasa
Hey guys!

As some of you may have seen already, the soundtrack DLC for Void Invaders is finally available!

It features up-beat tracks by Kingdaro. If you enjoy his music, be sure to check out his SoundCloud!

You might notice that the DLC page says "Play Game". Just ignore that, we're getting it sorted out.

Hey everyone!

It took us a little longer than expected, but the new update is finally here! Due to some last-minute problems with the save system and Game Maker: Studio we decided to postpone the update, but it’s finished now! Thanks for your patience.

New features:
  • 10 new levels
  • 16 new enemies
  • 2 new bosses
  • 3 new achievements
  • 2 new statistics
  • 1 new powerup
  • 1 new music track for the new levels
  • Entirely new ranking system
  • A new game mode: Wave Mode
  • Another leaderboard (for Wave Mode)
  • Easily recognisable hit sound and hurt effect for player
  • New hit effect for invincible enemies

Changes:
  • Tutorial is now shorter and skippable
  • Difficulties have been removed due to the new ranking system
  • Boss Mode has been removed and replaced by Wave Mode
  • Saves are local again; we’ve decided to remove Steam stats and cloud saves as they were causing trouble for many players
  • Achievements are now visible in Steam only

Fixes and improvements:
  • Overall in-game improvements
  • Enemy improvements
  • Minor improvements for Endless Mode
  • Menu improvements and glitch fixes
  • Optimisation and lag reduction
  • Particle system improvements
  • Interface improvements
  • Steam connection fixes and improvements
  • Achievements are kept on game reset
  • Minor graphical improvements

The current version is 1.3.1.

Hey everyone!

First of all: happy Halloween!

Secondly: we’re working on a new update -- which will be packed with new content and huge improvements!

Here’s a few things that are going to be added:
  • 10 brand new levels, including 2 challenging bosses
  • An improved ranking system
  • A new game mode, including leaderboards
  • A lot more enemies
  • New achievements
  • Free soundtrack DLC
  • Bug fixes, gameplay improvements and polishing

We’ve also decided to remove all difficulties, since an improved ranking system will be added.
Honestly, it didn’t add any value to the gameplay and just made everything more complicated and unstable. Due to this, the play time might be a bit shorter, but we’ve already partially made up for this with the new levels. We promise we’ll add new level packs in the future too!

We're expecting to release the update around November 14th.

Hi there!

We’ve released another update for Void Invaders. This one’s pretty big, as we’ve added full Steam Integration!

That’s right; Void Invaders now has:
  • Steam Achievements - brand new ones!
  • Cloud Saves - your old saves will automatically be uploaded.
  • Leaderboards for Endless Mode!

This update also features some other improvements, including:
  • Fixes and improvements for Boss Mode and Endless Mode
  • Internal changes, making it easier for us to work on future updates
  • Gamepad improvements
  • Minor bug fixes
The current version is 1.1.0.

Hey!

We wanted to let you know that we're working on a big update for Void Invaders! We'll release it within at most two weeks, but probably earlier.

The update will include full Steam integration, which means achievements, leaderboards, statistics and cloud saves will all be supported. The new achievements and leaderboards you see on the store page are NOT yet supported and do not match with the current version of the game. Please ignore these until the update is released. We're just testing them!

This is also not the final update, we will release an even bigger update in the future!

Hey!

We’ve published a small update for Void Invaders that brings a few bug fixes and improvements:
  • You can now take screenshots again.
  • Controller buttons in the tutorial are properly aligned.
  • Controller buttons are shown on the seizure warning screen.
  • Overall controller support has been improved.
The current version is 1.0.5.

Void Invaders - InputUsername
Hey everyone.

We’ve just added controller support to Void Invaders! The entire game can now be controlled using a controller or the keyboard. We’ve tested it with an Xbox 360 controller and a PS3 controller (using the Scarlet.Crush XInput wrapper). If you experience any problems, please let us know!

We’ve also added more screen settings and options:
  • The ability to switch between full scale and fixed scale
  • An option to turn off screen shake
  • An option to turn off screen wobble
The current version is 1.0.4.
