CPUCores :: Maximize Your FPS - 🆂tartup🆃im
CPUCores was built to do 1 thing and 1 thing only: Increase your FPS!
Version 1.9.9 has been released: New "Start Random Game" Feature!

New CPUCores Updates:
  • New "Start Random Game" Feature!
  • Internal Optimization of Game vs Non-Game listing

As a fun new update, I've added a "Start Random Game" feature to CPUCores. This feature will will enable you a 1-button click to start up any game, randomly, giving you the ability to truly randomize which game you're about to play.

This new feature will allow you to explore games that you may have ignored over time and breathe some extra life into your otherwise ever-expanding Steam library.

This feature came to be out of the numerous requests I've found online of people wanted to randomly be able to select a game. These requests seem to come from people who a) Have large Steam libraries, or b) Who have games ignored for years, and even c) Who do live Twitch/Youtube streams and want an additional way to interact with their gaming communities.

  • A major bug with the CPUCores Service has been found. The Service has since been removed and it has reverted back to the original and STABLE "core" behind CPUCores.
  • A bug affecting PUGB (Playerunknowns Battleground) with CPUCores has been resolved. You can now use CPUCores to stablize PUBG FPS once again!

Note: This requires your profile to (temporarily) be made public for the achievement to register. Note #2: There are fun things planned for these achievements including... CONTESTS!

CPUCores :: Maximize Your FPS - 🆂tartup🆃im
Want even more FPS gains? You got it!

CPUCores is getting even more significant upgrades in the near future!

CPUCores was first released on Steam on July of 2015. Since then it has had around 25+ major updates (announced), with around 20 more minor updates (unannounced). During that time, we've released tons of new features, enhancements, and improved support.

We aren't stopping there!

Here are some updates that are being worked on:
  • Re-release of our "service based engine". We are working on tweaking our prior test release of a service-based method for the software to internally make FPS-improving tweaks. This development is a ways away, though once finished, it should provide even more FPS gains.
  • Ability to hide games from your CPUCores Steam game list. By popular demand, we are added the ability to hide games in your Steam library from the list that is shown via CPUCores.
  • Further tweaks to the Game Probe Detection (GPD) feature of CPUCores. This will enable you to easily scan your processes and add games to your GPD list and save them there, allow multiple games to automatically be detected by CPUCores and have CPUCores auto-engage when a game is seen to be running.
  • Better support for more languages!

Further, we've opened up a discussion thread to hear what YOU would like added to CPUCores. See here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/384300/discussions/0/1698293255123024171/

Cheers!
