Hello community! We've got you a look at a co-op battle in Dead Effect 2 from a different angle - this time, it features the sword master Kay and his mad katana skillz. With Dead Effect 2 co-op, you'll be able to slice and dice your enemies in tandem - even in a threesome, if you want to! (The co-op will be playable by up to 3 players.)

Attention PC gamers, please! As promised, we would like to give you a sneak peek into what we're cooking now - the PC version of Dead Effect 2 with a cooperative multiplayer mode. We know that this particular feature is a hot topic in lots of discussions about Dead Effect 2, so we took the screenshots from a multiplayer battle. Wanna see Davis in action? Ta-daaa!

Dear community,

is there anybody in there? I hope there is, because we're still here, very much alive and kicking. We apologize for the long silence, but we've been working on something big and we are now ready to share some exciting news with you:

DEAD EFFECT 2 for PC/MAC is officialy in the works, awww yeeeah!

But that's not all. Are you sitting down? Good, because guess what: it will be Dead Effect 2 with a cooperative multiplayer mode. Right there from the very beginning. How about that?

The Early Access version will be a full-blown game which we will continue to tweak and tune in cooperation with our community to make sure that it will live up to your standards - especially the multiplayer mode.

So, what do you say - are you willing to give it a go?

In the meantime, you can get a taste of what's in stock for you by checking out the mobile release trailers:

Hey everyone!

It’s official - if you follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Google+, you might already know… But in case you don’t, here we go: Dead Effect 2 is coming to your mobile devices and PC/MAC this fall!

Check out the trailer HERE.

Thank you guys for your incredible support you’ve been showing us since Dead Effect 1. We wouldn’t be able to work on the sequel, were it not for you! We’re working really, really hard to deliver the best sci-fi FPS you can imagine. That being said, there is a couple of things we would like to run by you.

First of all, many of you have been calling for the multiplayer mode since Dead Effect 1 was first published. And we get it – the only thing that is more fun than blowing the heads off hordes of zombies is doing so with your friends (or complete strangers from the dark recesses of the internet, for that matter). We know, right? So yeah. Dead Effect 2 will come with a multiplayer mode. We can’t wait!

Another thing that’s been bugging both you and us is the Linux support for Dead Effect. As much as we would like to accommodate the wishes of the owners of Linux devices and make Dead Effect 1 Linux-compatible, we are currently lacking the manpower and time to do so. We’ve been focusing on Dead Effect 2 for the last couple of months – that’s a lot of stuff to deal with, people. Stay tuned then! We hope that you’ll all enjoy Dead Effect 2. Here’s a couple of cool screenshots to brighten your day :-)

A couple of weeks have passed since the release of our game, during of which we've seen tons of positive reactions and complimentary reviews. It's like watching our kid go off to college and see him getting straight A's! We are very proud of it, but even prouder of you. We've been very lucky to have such a loyal, enthusiastic community. Thank you for everything you're doing for us!

We are well aware of the fact that our game is far from perfect. However, we constantly monitor all the feedback and we use your tips and suggestions not only to improve Dead Effect 1, but also to give us an idea of what to steer clear from in our future projects. Your help is invaluable - our mission is to create games that you, our audience, will enjoy.

We are not an AAA studio and all you can see is the work of a very small team of very dedicated people. This is something that some of the less favourable reviews forget about - we do not have the backing of a large sponsor or lots of staff, and all this has taken lots of blood (literally), toil, tears, and sweat. Still, being compared to AAA titles is something we have never even dreamed of, and it's a great boost of confidence to us. We promise to keep up the good work, and we hope we can enlist your help in the future as well.

Thank you, you're the best!

Imagine if you could take all the ideas other people have had, and then not do anything interesting with them. That s the dream, the dream that gives us Dead Effect. A first-person shooter that has less ambition than this simile. Here’s wot I think.>
