Tank Operations: European Campaign - rokapublish
Dear Tank Operations: European Campaign fans,

Thank you for many years of loyalty to the game. After 5 years, in which the game was supervised by another publisher, we finally took the game back into our own hands. We know Tank Operations is a good, solid game, but it's time to improve it even further. Your reviews have inspired us. Together with you we want to work on the game and get the best out of it.

Dear fans,
(and just to add, we are really glad to be able to say that we have fans!)

We have been working hard on trying to address most of the major bugs in our title, and we would have achieved this at a faster pace, if we were a much bigger development team. Maybe one day we will be. *fingers crossed*

Thank you also for all the great support that you have given us since our release last year, it really has excited us a lot and driven us to try our best to create even better products for you in the future.

Anyway, here are those patch notes you came for...

The following major issues were addressed in this patch from 1.6 to version 1.7.
- crash when all enemy units were destroyed
- crash in very special attack situations
- crashes when hitting the 'End Turn' button, caused by some special actions and some unit constellations
- another crash when using some special actions
- crash when a building has been blocked by the saboteur and the blocking is over
- crash or hang (dependant on the situation) during the AI turn, caused by "ghost" units
- resolution dependant problems when starting the game. Many "can't start the game" issues should be fixed now. Because of so many possible configurations there still might be starting problems on some hardware.
- performance improved. The game shouldn't slow down anymore over time.
- wrong fuel calculation when a unit member of a stack was destroyed
- unit on a bridge not destroyed when using the saboteur to destroy the bridge
- tiles turning black when using the special action of the P51
- wrong buying of the AI when one of its buildings has been blocked
- terrain error in level 7
- some language text bugs
- minor bug fixes

- Geländefehler in Level 7
- einige sprachabhängige Textfehler
- weitere kleinere Bugfixes
