Absolutely ridiculous and fourth-wall-breaking beautiful space nonsense combined with light RPG mechanics and occasionally weighty story makes this a must-buy in my opinion. Hoping for a sequel!

If this efficient and creative team can expand on their fascinating hybrid open world/mission-based first title and bring the world more gas-mask-and-assault-rifle goodness, we should all be onboard.

InXile has never made a BAD game, and this absolutely seems like a great hybrid of the ideas of Arcanum and Bioshock, so it seems guaranteed it will be worth checking out.

An amazing RPG studio taking an existing franchise and the third game switching from isometric to FPS/RPG? Where have I heard and loved more than just about anything else this before? Pretty excited

Ignore the RPG elements and this might be an enjoyable FPS/adventure, but the RPG mechanics are useless against the only real antagonist of the game and it is confusing why they were added at all.

I try not to recommend too many non-FPSs, but if you have somehow not been paying attention, Baldur's Gate ]I[ is a once-in-a-generation classic even in beta and everyone who likes RPGs should own it.

HOW IS THIS SO GOOD? If you liked anything ever released with the word "Shock" in it, especially System, pick this up right now. This is the Platonic ideal of what a remake/remaster/reboot should be

Everyone needs to know this game exists, as it looks potentially like the Five Nights at Freddy's/We Happy Few crossover that only I truly knew the world needed

Fantastic sequel that keeps all the parkour/zombie funtimes from the original while adding new movement methods and even more interesting story and world reactivity; current pick for game of the year.

Elex was my 2017 Game of the Year, and Elex II is also not an FPS, but fantastic and praiseworthy. Beautiful open world, Gothic/Elexesque "find endgame content and die at level 1" free-form goodness.
