Nick says: An unexpected gem that successfully marries Cthulhu’s desires to destroy the world with holiday festivities and cheer.

Nick says: If you love games that are fun, cute, and a bit goofy, this one's for you. The story is silly, the world is colorful, and you’ll scratch that itch for wanting to play another 3D Mario game.

Nelson says: It just feels incredibly half-assed and poorly put-together, is rife with balance and mechanical issues, and has gone so far down the Woke rabbit hole that it isn’t even funny anymore.

Nelson says: Like all the best entries in the series, this game both tells a complete story, AND leaves open plenty of opportunities for interesting new stories and sequels.

Nelson says: A bland, lifeless, cardboard cutout of an RPG that messes with just enough of the basic mechanics of the genre in the name of… innovation, I guess, to render itself insufferable.

Nelson says: “Catmaze” is the closest thing to a second “Cave Story” we’ve seen come out of the Indie gaming scene for quite some time.
