This is a brilliant little game: beautiful, with exquisite level design, thematic unity, and wonderful grotesque monsters. I'm not big into platformers but I loved it.

I hate the gameplay (it's mostly guns and dull; the stealth and cyber are terrible). But the stories and characters are great. I'll miss Judy and Panam and even River a lot.

Best simulation of being a detective ever, as you have to come up with search terms to investigate the story. Great acting. I hate the pointless time limit though.

Tour Ancient Greece, visit historic sites, meet the ancients, and kill half of them. There is always something to do; the minus side is that it will take a long time to do it.

Roll up things into a ball for your insane deity father. Start with thumbtacks; end with entire islands. Brilliant idea, delightful art, great music. Weird controls so it's not *too* easy.

More Lara, with even bigger areas to do destructive archeology in. Not as great a character arc as TR but a better story, and thankfully, almost no QT events.

A set of inventive, beautifully realized, macabre short stories about death. Storytellers will be mining this for years. I hate the ending, though.

A Western-flavored comedy RPG. There's a lot more in it than you'd expect from the simple art, and most of it is pretty funny. Only real complaint: no journal of open quests.

A gorgeous and clever puzzle game. Most of the gameplay is moving things around, which turns out to produce more options than you'd think. Be aware that it's short (< 2 hours).

Ryan North's choose-your-own-adventure version of Hamlet. North has an irresistible sense of humor, and it's pretty easy to sample a bunch of plots.
