Casual platformer. Glitches, bugs, and a lack of polish really bring down this port of the DS classic. Still, when it comes together, it really pulls off what made Mario 1 so fun in the first place.

Absurdist platformer with a hokey "story" about romances between blocks. The schtick is that the loose-running narrative gives clues as to how to play the constantly-changing rules. Arty and fun.

Spark the Electric Jester is a fantastic, fast-paced, Sonic-style platformer with elements of Kirby. Imaginative levels and fantastic music really make this one stick out.

It's super-hard, it's extremely bloody, and it's tons of fun. BUTCHER is like a true 2D Doom and the spiritual successor to Abuse. It's a must-play, but be prepared to die often.
