Not the best port, but the base game is still really solid. And by "solid," I mean it's fun to glitch through walls. So not solid at all, actually.

Look, okay. If you can't respect this game for Pumpkin Hill's and City Escape's songs I don't actually want to know you.

This started out as a Sonic fangame, but it's really grown into its own. It wonderfully evokes the Genesis style, and the game design is super solid.

This is the best Sonic game. Not just in ten years, but period.
