Shallow, overpriced coffeebreak roguelike where you move too slowly, RNG plays too big a part in whether you live or die and there's just not much to it. For the price ADOM offers SO much more.

Pointless re-imagining of ADOM with no overworld, 4 way movement and missing the proper ASCII mode. Currently in a bare-bones state with a lot of missing content and UI annoyances. Buy only to support

Fairly charming lofi adventure/roguelike hybrid with weapons, armour, cool 1970s horror film music. You can play it completely with a controller. 2 skills to pick between each level up.

Mix of mystery dun.RL with tactics combat-multiple heroes and enemies, move multiple squares/turn. Presentation REALLY rough & have to sit through long dialogs every start. Could be good underneath.

It's Epyx Rogue the commercial release for PC. Original files with dosbox. If you use non-qwerty kbd layout you will have to do some research and fiddle with dosbox conf. It's cheap enough but v. lazy

Not sure if it qualifies as a roguelike because 4 people to a tile but it's turn-based, random, permadeath, overhead dungeon crawl. Emphasis on leaderboards: live view of you closing in on others.

Good game with small monochrome graphics but colours make things difficult to see in the inventory. You have to suffer tutorial dungeon every time until you get to level 4 once. Price is a bit high.

Polished version of 7DRL. Gimmick=possession of your enemies as you go through the levels. Varied abilities by thing you possess but no loot. Nice pixel gfx. May not have long term appeal though.

Great graphics and animations but game spoiled by slow movement, no key binds, nec. of using maus + kbd (or controller), litelike persistence, nec. of breaking destructibles, slow blocking animations.

Not bad Mystery Dungeon style rl spoiled by being overpriced, lacklustre graphics, no keyboard rebinds (aimed at using controller), no fullscreen, no story. 30 of 100 planned levels. Will dev finish?
