who wants to worm?? one the best ridiculous stuff happening MP games out there. there are like 1000 other worms games for some reason just get this one.

second only to smash in local multiplayer carnage. shows the power of design refinement and clarity, any piece missing here would make it fall apart

nothing taps into player psychology as well as spelunky. greed, cowardice, and bravado are more likely causes of death than clumsiness or inexperience

it's like a playable textbook for enemy/level/encounter design. out of all shooters, this one and halo are missing a level editor the most :(

i'm really bad at it despite playing on and off since like 2005 but to me 1v1 Q3 is still the best competitive FPS has to offer.

full fledged Kamiyalike from one of the protégés of Kamiya himself. parry mechanic is one of the few physically satisfying designs i can even think of

ultra simple player mechanics put the spotlight squarely on jolly cooperation in this one. a rare coop game actually built around communication.

kick some motorcycle morons to the curb in this huge world built around One Weird Mechanic. gets old after a while but slinging around is fun as hell

has one of the most fully realized and imaginative worlds explorable in a videogame. somehow this same team released oblivion 4 years later??
