In a world filled to the brim with highly randomized turn-based tactics systems, Battle Brothers has one of the best ones I’ve experienced in years.

A tough-as-nails nonlinear wRPG in a seedy, intrigue-filled world based on the collapsed Roman empire. Tactical combat and loads of well-written dialog.

A charming, tightly designed graphical roguelike. It lacks the depth of a traditional roguelike, but makes up for it in elegance and accessibility.

A item shop sim / action RPG dungeon delver, I actually recommend this mostly on the strength of the shop management part (which is great).

A Diablo-alike with a terribly impressive dynamic world. Enemies have factions and war against each other; the town can be attacked; and so on.

Jeff Vogel's known for producing turn-based party-based isometric wRPGs with open worlds and branching plot lines: Avernum 6 is a great example of that.

A jRPG where you play as a psychotic antihero who can talk to the animals like some kind of Disney princess. Also, you punch bears.

Gorgeous pixel art, loads of atmosphere, and a cover-based turn-based combat system reminiscent of the Firaxis XCOM. 'Nuff said.

I love this game more than a human being reasonably ought to love a game. Great characters, and its hybrid tower defense battles work astonishingly well
