Half-Life, the game that started it all. This game brought a more relatable character (for the 90's) going through a situation uncomprehendable for us.

This game is heavily atmospheric, with a great plot and superb immersion. It really makes you feel for the characters. (Only 5hr of gameplay *W8 4 Sale)

Fair, simplistic gameplay with a lore that makes finishing it satisfying. It is plainly for fun (and screaming). Definitely worth a try or two.

This game's story is of one that I personally have never seen in the past. It's minimalistic art design makes for an interesting semi-replayable game.

Half-Life 2, the next generation of Dr. Gordon Freeman's struggle through a post-takeover Earth, leading a resistance to victory. Truly the gem of 2004.
