While a bit light on initial content, it's a strong foundation for the game to build on with an incredibly immersive world and some tense pvp moments.

Xcom 2 has solid turn-based combat and deeper customization than Enemy Unknown. Its repetitious gameplay, bugs and rushed pacing hold it back though.

Revelations 2 stays closer to the series roots than Resident Evil 6. Enemies are challenging and ammo is scarce but its episodic nature hurts the pacing

Rainbow Six Siege is old school yet refreshing in this day and age. With only one life, caution and teamwork win out over mindless running and gunning.

The open world format hasn't diluted its character driven narrative and hardly anything feels like filler. Its spot on our top 10 is well earned:

While the stealth elements are questionable, it features an epic narrative, a fantastic open world, and an amazing soundtrack. It's a must play.

While lacking content and having somewhat repetitive combat. Ryse offers a very strong narrative and amazing visuals. Wait for this one to go on sale.

A beautiful hybrid of a 2d side-scroller mixed with JRPG mechanics. While a bit light on story, it makes up for it with superb art and fantastic music.

While the PC port has some issues, if you can overlook them, you're left with a fantastic survival horror hybrid between Resident Evil 4 & Silent Hill.
