The hate is absolutely unjustified. The satirical Duke humour carries DNF. Gameplay is not spectacular, but does the job. Sadly, mechanics have changed.

Not nearly as novel as the original, but it builds nicely upon it. Good mental exercise with a fun story to boot. There truly is no villain like GLaDOS.
