This game is how I remember with nostalgia eyes those flash gladiator games I used to play when I was a kid. Is it perfect? No. Still in EA, but receiving frequent updates. Punches above its weight!

Nostalgia trip! Back to the GBC Pokemon era, D:Q offers you up to 20h for the main campaign and +140 collectable monsters. The dev has a bad rep. He abandoned his last game unfinished in EA.

What a surprise! If you find Total War combat too dense and you prefer the turn-based part of the saga, you’ll enjoy the SoS approach: fast combat + eventful campaigns + card battler mechanics.

A masterfully crafted gem! The best worldbuilding yet with a wildlife that feels real. A jump forward over MHW, which already was a must-have. Superb character creator sadly missing some DD2 features.

Incest is wincest simulator! On a serious note, its dark nature may come as “edgy” often, but the writing have improved over time (still in EA). It was a guilty pleasure of mine, appropriately priced.

Interesting concept with a poor execution. An RTS game with deck-building mechanics. Very limited and repetitive. It has potential, but half baked games that jump into the dlc wagon are a no from me.

Classic Doom meets Borderlands… Really surprised with this indie gem. It’s an RPG shooter that includes +100 different weapons and 30 unique bosses. It punches above its weight, but better on a sale.

Pokemon if it were vegan & eco-friendly. Unironically charming, but not everyone’s cup of tea. Short campaign (10-12h). If you want better monster battler alternatives: Monster Sanctuary and Coromon.

I wish I could play it again for the 1st time. The storytelling is its weakest point by far, but the art direction, worldbuilding, unforgettable npcs, voice acting, soundtrack... A flawed masterpiece.
