Fantastic! Feels authentically like an early 80s arcade game with a mid-90s arcade remake, like Pac-Man and Pac-Man Arrangement. I just wish it was even harder and had a more in-depth scoring system!

It's like Rolling Thunder except with procedurally generated stages, which are a perfect fit for the tactical methodical pacing. Extremely difficult and moreish. There's even a free version!

The Punisher is an excellent arcade beat em up, and in my opinion it's an excellent game to learn the genre with (see video for info). Marvel vs Capcom 2 is one of my favorite fighting games ever.

Possibly my favorite traditional roguelike of all time, with tons of fun items and hilariously cruel enemies. Easy to learn and hard to master, with impeccable pacing and little downtime.

One of my favorite traditional roguelikes of all time, with tons of abilities and some hilariously cruel enemies. Easy to get started with, but has lots of post-game dungeons for all skill levels.

One of my favorite arcade-style platformers. Full of dynamic and unpredictable challenges, with some genuine improvements over its arcade predecessors. I'm not used to modern games being this good.

Orthodox CAVE-style bullet hell shmup executed very well, with a tutorial that does a great job of explaining the techniques needed to play the genre at a competent level.
