Mad Father is definitely a 2D horror experience that was done right. The atmosphere and experience (like level design and exploration) hits the spot.

Necrobarista's story is hella interesting and the fact that this game is done in 3D does not hurt it at all, it's great.

Frontier Hunter: Erza’s Wheel of Fortune offer a really polished anime action experience with really fun platformer elements and good design.

Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot user interface could use a bit more work, but for the gameplay experience it done pretty well.
