A captivating experience with so much heart poured into it, please please play it and do not look anything up. It's fairly short but worth the ride.

Deceptively good despite the weird initial impressions. Creature collection aspect is fun and rewards you for experimenting. Characters are well made, and sometimes the dialogue gets too damn real.

It's a game where the only substance is to wander around aimlessly, wait for something to appear and then run away from it, often while screaming/laughing moronically. Unjustifiable to cost money.

It's not another Void Bastards, but that's entirely fine given how quality this game is. A joy to strategize around risk management, resource allocation and the vastly different characters.
Deadlock

Mmm more slop yum yum. Deadlock is every ♥♥♥♥♥♥ aspect of esports games blended together with no self-identity. If you love esports sludge then whatever, but I don't think most will.

Greatly surpasses the original by actually being a very good game with plenty of variety. Co-op is easy to set up and generally fun. Tone and story quality are much worse than the first RoR.

Undoubtedly one of the most well made horde-shooters of all time despite its age, carefully designed to be simple with plenty of depth. Beware the basement demons lurking in Versus lobbies.

Complete freedom to do and make whatever you wish within what Source can handle. Possibly the only game out there where community mods are a standout feature, but you can do a lot still by default.

I have my personal gripes with it, but PvZ remains a great casual game essentially anyone can play and enjoy. May be boring for more experienced TD players and contains some bad lock and key design.

Enjoyable and very charming puzzle experience based off an old Newgrounds game jam game. Manages to be meta without being annoying, and has a lot of small secrets for replay value.
