It's actually gotten a lot better than it was. It still has issues and is plagued by paradox's horrific DLC doctrine, but it's a good game now at least.

CK3 is really fun... but it doesn't make this outdated. 2 very distinct games. CK3 has more polished mechanics, while this has far superior flavour.
