Lovely Star Wars game. Fun, solid features (especially with force and lightsabers), solid progression, and it has a convincing story. Can't help but love it as a lifelong Star Wars fan. Sci-fantasy.

A spaceship MMO with some solid features (especially in terms of exploration and combat), but which has been let down more recently. Fun, but maybe get star citizen instead (if you can). Soft sci-fi.

A grindy game where the grind is supposed to be the fun. Entertaining for some, horrible for others, but uniquely (for a free MMORPG) you can play entirely without paying whatsoever. Sci-fantasy.

The game where most rocket lovers seem to start. All-in-all good gameplay, as realistic as it has to be, and with thousands of mods to supplement. Leaning toward Hard 'sci-fi', but hardly sci-fi.

Classic sci-fi colony management game where you start from nothing. It's infinitely moddable, so there's tons of replayability to it. A must-have for sci-fi strategy enjoyers. Soft sci-fi.

Cool hard sci-fi space game. About as realistic as it gets-- and thus not the sort of game if you want star destroyers and X-wings. How hard sci-fi is it? I'd argue it's as realistic as games get.
