A triumphant remake, Dead Space is an absolute blast to play. Combining more modern controls and higher fidelity with remixed locales, the USG Ishimura feels terrifyingly familiar- yet just as alien.

This is the Soulslike I've been craving. Never before has a game so clearly kicked my ass but, at the same time, felt so rewarding to explore and play. Amazing both solo and coop- a clear must play.

A triumph in melding both the old and the new, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a masterclass in tribute games. Both a clearly Jet Set inspired work and a piece that stands on its own, BRC is worth your time.

Simultaneously a faithful remake and an well crafted modern third-person shooter, Resident Evil 4 is a treat. Perfect for both fans of the original and new players alike- it's action horror perfected.

Following in the footsteps of its unpolished older brother, Risk of Rain 2 has proven to be one of the single most stellar examples of the roguelike genre. With friends or alone, ROR2 is excellent.

Though outdated, it's clear why Hopoo decided to create a sequel- Risk of Rain is a well-made experience and it's hard to believe it started as a college project. Looking forward to the future remake!

Unfortunately, this title made its way to Steam after being an EGS exclusive, which diminished its impact- but this game is an absolute gem of a 3D speed plaformer. This is what Sonic games SHOULD be.

Criminally underrated, this blend of high-octane third-person combat and Tony Hawk blends its inspirations into a coherent, delightful whole- while still finding a voice and style entirely its own.

While at first glance appearing to be a lazy remake, this Ultra-Deluxe edition more than earns that designation- the abundance of new content adding even more weight to the charming, poignant tale.

There's a reason the internet latched on to this. Brimming with style and an abundance of edge, MGR:R feels almost like a modern game- its off-the-wall plot feeling more relevant than ever before.
