It's the first PS3-era Yakuza game, and it really is a good one for its time, but the gameplay...ugh. This game is why guard break is stronger on future entries. The soundtrack is a banger, though.

If you ever wondered why Yakuza 2 doesn't get much praise as other entries, I'll abridge it for you: Everyone is Jingweon/Korean, but they all agreed to act surprised when Kiryu finds out about it.

The Legacy of Kain games have Shakespearean levels of writing and world-building. Many other game devs took aspects of this franchise and applied them on their games. This is where it all started.

Made by a single guy who used his wife's savings with her consent to pursue his dream. I never pre-order games but I'll put this one on the bag when it comes out. Totally worth it!

Yet another overhyped COD fueled by MTX at an absurd price point. My only advice(if you're still gonna buy it)is to just play the game and not waste a penny on anything else. Don't give into FOMO.

I'd recommend playing the very first two Yakuza titles from PS2, but this'll do. Be warned, though, word on the street says there's a one-eyed mad dog on the loose, and is looking for a dragon...

You're in for the ride of your life. You'll suffer from start to finish, and you're gonna love it. You'll get some laughs too, so don't worry; It's the full package.

There is no MvC after this one. Don't waste your money on an inferior product ironically branded "Infinite". Search "community edition" for UMVC3 and get yourself the upgrade we officially never got.

The ONLY NFS worth your money as of 2024. Turn off the in-game music, (because they don't fit with a racing game) put Rom Di Prisco's classic NFS soundtracks on queue and let loose behind the wheel.
