Sea of Stars is a stylish turn-based RPG. The combat system is great, but the story and main characters are a little underwhelming. Enjoyed my time with it, but it took me a while to get into it.

Undeniably feels a little dated in 2024, but with such exceptional puzzle design it's still worth experiencing. The innovative time rewind mechanic steals the show, but the music and art are stellar.

The strategy gameplay is great, and each character has unique abilities that feel true to their lore. It's the writing, social-sim, resource collection, and multiple currencies, that are unbearable.

Avoid unless you're the most hardcore level of Persona fan. The Dynasty Warriors style gameplay doesn't work with the Persona franchise combat features, and the story misses about as much as it hits.

Definitive way to play Half Life nowadays. While the game has certainly aged and has some frustrating elements, the overall game design and way the world lightly pushes you forward is incredible.

Darktide is one of the best team-based horde shooters, or Left 4 Dead style games on the market. Its environments are stunning, and the soundtrack absolutely bangs. It does get repetitive though.

Fun 2D platformer based on a digging mechanic similar to the one in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It's short but charming, and plays with the mechanic in some enjoyable ways along the journey.

One of my absolute favorites from 2024 so far. Stylish old-school dungeon crawling with goofy humor. Killing enemies provides you letters, and deciphering new words means new actions for your party.

As far as character action games go, I'm not sure you can do better. Brilliant cutscenes, awesome animations, great music, and thrilling gameplay. Tons of content as well. Capcom is killing it.

Obra Dinn-light deduction game, with a stylish semi-noir aesthetic that's packed with puns. It's around a 2 hour experience that's very polished and has multiple laugh out loud moments.
