Jet Set Radio walked so Hover could run so Bomb Rush Cyberfunk could boost past the finish line. With buttery smooth controls and a soundtrack featuring 2 Mello and Naganuma, it's an easy 7/7

Finally, a "Choices Matter" "Multiple Endings" "Story Rich" game where all three of those are actually accurate! Visually underwhelming, but excellent storytelling makes up for it. 5/7

A tragedy in 80 minutes. Watch bad ending after bad ending unfold as your choices impact the narrative, leading to somebody's demise. You'll all burn. 5/7

Cassette Beasts dares to ask, "what if the catch monster genre was good"? my only gripes are that sticker remasters are cryptic, lack of polyamory (thank you modders <3), and a grindy endgame. 6/7

As much as I adore MHW, the egregious "bonus cosmetic DLCs" really hurts it. Iceborne is a damn good expansion, though, and I wish more games did DLC that way. including this game. it's weird. 5/7
