This game revitalized the classic 2D JRPG experience with modern UI, gameplay, and effects. Some light voice acting, basic story beats, and one of the most beautiful soundtracks of any game out there.

A solid entry into the Dragon Quest series bringing upgraded graphics, basic storyline, and traditional turn based combat. The setting is vibrant and colorful. Game isn't challenging or cutting edge.

This game felt like playing through a D&D campaign. It gave you lots of choices and different styles of magic to play. The story was rich, detailed and well-worth playing through a second time. 10/10

ToCS2 improves upon the first game by switching up the gameplay after the first act and introduces new mechanics such as mech battles and some mini-games. The story builds upon their expansive world.

If you love classic SNES or HD-2D style JRPGs then this is one to check out. It has a decent storyline, great development of the main characters, basic crafting and engaging turn based combat. 10/10
