A wonderful roguelite/platform fighter hybrid with super satisfying combat and loads of upgrades and build variety. Healthy enemy variety and meta progression elements help it along.

A solid Metroidvania with a very pretty art style and excellent traversal and exploration. The story is pretty interesting as it makes you figure out the MCs past along with current events.

A solid Souls-like taking place in a mythical ancient China. Memorable bosses and fun levels work well with parry-based combat and a neat Spirit system. Best to go into it knowing it isn't Nioh 3.

A flawed game with solid combat and exploration, but unlikable characters and a messy story/mechanics. Still pretty enjoyable and creative, but know that it's best experienced for less than $60.

A roguelite twin-stick with a fun robotic western theme and a cool reload system that makes the combat feel tactical. Unfortunately, it currently lacks content and variety for its high price.

A solid roguelite with some lovely art and tactical hex-based battles. Cool unit and spell upgrade systems and a good amount of variety help to add lasting appeal, nice difficulty modifiers, too.

A soothing, engrossing game about cleaning things with great force and furious abandon. Just put on something to listen to, find that zen focus and start blasting grime off of helicopters. Quite nice.

A spin-off to the series, this is actually a 4X strategy game in a similar vein to Age of Wonders. It's challenging and combat-focused, and each mage type you can choose plays very differently. Gewd.

One of the finest modern JRPGs I've had the pleasure to play, 8BA2 has stellar writing and characters, memorable story moments, and fun first-person combat with nice tactical challenge. A must-play.
