Elite Dangerous' gameplay can fluctuate between glorified screensaver and highly immersive simulation - depending entirely on the player. Whatever you choose, prepare to read/watch tons of guides.

Great game if you're all of the following: 1) a first-person platforming aficionado 2) into lonely and low-key depressing worlds and 3) immune to frustration. Can't stress 3 enough.

The final romp in this rompy trilogy is the rompiest of them all! From minute 1 to the incredibly cathartic ending(s): jokes so brilliantly stupid you will laugh at yourself for laughing at them.

Although the PvP endgame reeks of pay2win, Throne and Liberty manages to break the mold of free2play MMOs with unintrusive monetization, gorgeous worldbuilding, and a sophisticated gameplay loop.

When it comes to single-developer passion projects, Pseudoregalia certainly is up there with the likes of Undertale and Stardew. Forget about genres - this should be played by anyone who loves games.

What an absolute joy! Fast-paced, high skill ceiling, but when everything comes together, your practice pays off and you fly through the landscape it's a full blown dopamine rush. More levels, please?

Hot Lava's movement feels somewhat stiff - which shouldn't be a dealbreaker, the game more than makes up for that by the sheer amount of variety and creativity it has to offer. A true passion project.
