The Souls Series hasn't changed much since it's first entry. It's roots such as terrible character control and convoluted storytelling are ever-present. In short, it sucks.

Something this simple shouldn't be this bad. Worth $2 tops for a single night of fun with friends.

It took them a while, but they finally got there. Despite what most youtubers say, the game is actually pretty dang fun. Tune out the internet and give it a shot. Highly recommend AngryTurtle's YT.

Amazing story, good game play, after that everything falls apart. Game is stupidly short, and there's basically 1 level you play multiple times with different "skins" on everything.

The demo "Bright Memory" was better, and arguably just as long. For $20, this is a bad joke. Tight gameplay but it'll be over before you know it. Good for $1. Everything else about it is cringe.

Highly recommended you stay away from this one. Destined to be abandoned + WAY too many unrefined ideas/mechanics stacked on top of each other that amount to nothing more than a half baked mess.

Laughable and sad at the same time. This is what you get when the mobile market bleeds into PC gaming. Everything is bad/lazy/boring. If you like over the top anime, then you might enjoy this.

Simple concept that really should have been a blast to play, but somehow managed to drop the ball. Awkward controls, boring yet aggravating levels but somehow easy bosses. Worth $2 tops.

10/10 hands down. Great music, fun, simple, but difficult gameplay. Tight controls with tighter hitboxes. One man show and the dev is a legend.
