I've played every Civ game that's come prior to VI, and I must admit that, while VI is not my favorite, it isn't horrible and adds the usual QOL improvements. I still would rather play IV or V though

Mizi No! is a cute free to play puzzle game. Gameplay is very much a digital jigsaw puzzle akin to Glass Masquerade. The puzzles get decently difficult but don't feel too hard. I enjoyed it!

I've only touched the tip of the iceberg in Balatro so far, and I completely understand where the "addicting" feelings people talk about come from. It hits high levels of dopamine for me

Inbento is a simple looking puzzle game that actually provides a head scratch. I played the first half within an hour so $5 does seem a little high, but I got it on sale which felt a bit more worth it

Smushi Come Home is an exploration/adventure game similar to A Short Hike. I really enjoyed the cute dialogue and loved the OST. Small warning: I did experience a little motion sickness while playing

*DEMO ONLY* I'm not a huge fan of visual novels, but I enjoyed the Puzzle League style matching when it came up. For a game with music in the tagline, though, I wasn't in love with the soundscape

*DEMO ONLY* Bang Bang Barrage currently reads as a mini twin stick roguelike. I don't think it'll have a wide breadth of gameplay, but if it releases for a few bucks, it could be a good time killer

*DEMO ONLY* I won't give Bloomtale a bad review just yet, but I felt a little disappointed after finishing the demo. I think more instruction is needed but not with too much text. It has potential tho

*DEMO ONLY* Goodlands reminds me of games like Short Hike, which I feel like we desperately need more of. The controls & visuals are a little wonky, so I hope for more polish, but I do want to play it

*DEMO ONLY* Let me begin by saying that I've loved logic puzzles since I was a kid, and Is This Seat Taken perfectly scratches that itch. It's not too easy nor too hard, and I'm excited to solve more!
