A furry themed SRPG with a deep character creation system. Overall seems fairly average, but it'll scratch the itch if you're looking for another game like Final Fantasy Tactics. Score: ★★★☆☆

Neat use of terrain battle tactics, and use of birds to deliver orders makes this game stand out compared to games like Battle Brothers. Cool emergent narrative concepts based on actions. Score: ★★★★☆

It's Tactic's Ogre. Has some new paint, largely fairly similar to the PSP remake. Tactics Ogre is the game a vast majority of Japanese SRPGs are based on, and this is a well made port. Score: ★★★★★

Not necessarily anything unique or outstanding. God Wars manages to be a competent, if a bit by the numbers SRPG. Think of this more like comfort food for SRPG fans, and nothing special. Score: ★★★☆☆

Final entry in the Utawarerumono series. A strong narrative comes to a strong close. The series as a whole is easy to recommend. Well worth it's price, and with solid art and narrative. Score: ★★★★★

Yet another great game in the Utawarerumono series. Get it if you want to keep following along with the overarching story. Great art, and story with passable combat. Score: ★★★★★

Very rough around the edges, and made by the original creator of X-COM as a series. Relatively difficult game, and has some strange design decisions in gameplay. Not amazing, but not bad. Score: ★★★☆☆

The Krynn series includes some of the earliest Western SRPGs in a D&D setting. Maybe a little bit dated for most modern gamers, but it's good if you want to see early examples of SRPG. Score: ★★★★☆

Do you like boats? Do you like weird races, and cool pixel art? If you're interested in an indie SRPG with a lot of charm. Check out Horizon Gate, and get your fill of Nautical SRPG. Score: ★★★★☆

One of the rare Ogre Battle like games to exist. Aselia is a VN/SRPG hybrid, and has relatively passable combat with a great story. One of the better written SRPGs. Score: ★★★★☆
