While I enjoy and recommend Devil's Hideout to fans of point and click games, it has some issues with pacing and plot in a way that makes it feel like a fragment rather than a complete experience

It's a bite-sized bit of light existential horror that I really appreciated not only for it's ability to make it feel like the choices held some weight, but also had some variety in the game play.

You're a grizzled old fisherman in a world full of Lovecraftian horror and mystery. I'm not sure how they made the perfect game, but here it is.

Some minor quibbles, but the truth is that I had so much fun and screamed "DIE HERETIC SCUM" so often that it was totally worth it.
