It significantly improves upon many aspects of its predecessor. Unfortunately, it retains some glaring issues and adds new ones - poor performance, weak balance, and a lackluster main story.

The game is inconsistent across the board. The story and companions are underwhelming despite solid writing. The gameplay is decent, but not compelling enough to stand as the game's primary appeal.

DICE fixed, reworked, and added a lot of content, but it shouldn’t have taken so many months to do it. If you're looking for a casual FPS to play, you may give it a chance (just wait for a discount).
