Major time-sink, and every second is enjoyable. Fighting alien scum to save the human race and all of the managing needed to do so.

DayZ Lite, but the amount of modding you can do is breath-taking. Not to mention its free. There is NO reason to atleast not try this.

One of the most atmospheric titles out there. The modding community for it is quite expansive as well. Pripyat is a place to go to kill and be killed.

Zelda dungeon-crawler with roguelike qualities. Gross and disturbing artwork, chilling and suspenseful soundtrack. Its almost a work of art!

Quaint little title, not AAA material but this is as good as it gets in this genre. Zombie survival basebuilding. Quirky, but very enjoyable.

Robbing banks, kingpins, the FBI, and everyone in between with friends. Admirable RPG leveling elements built around action and stealth. Fantastic.

Not for everyone, or most people for that matter. But if you like challenging survival and murdering/being murdered by psychopaths then you'll be home.
