Close Combat series is very much akin to original Squad Leader, and some Advanced Squad Leader. Skip the Bloody First, and stick to the less flashy, better picks in the series, like the Longest Day.

Herculean-level wargaming efforts. Truly impressive and intimidating. Not for the faint of heart or the casual wargamer.

It's Ultimate General: Civil War with boats, so that means it's pretty dang good.

Killerfish has made better games. This is okay. I'm not sold yet. Will update when I'm sold one way or another.

Find a friend, make them buy this, play with them, and avoid the not-so-great in-game chat. Seriously, turn that off and play this great game with people you know.
