Opens to complete silence, all the way up until the main menu, where the choir jumps in, a touch abrupt, but otherwise fine

The bloodline opens with a blaring foghorn-esque noise on every startup, that seemingly ignores any volume setting.

On startup the sound is entirely muted, presents you a volume slider and prompts you to increase volume until comfortable, the gold standard, every game going forward should have this.

Starts with loud drum hit and screeching before you can skip the intro scene.

Very first note is a headphone bursting drum beat.

Lulls you into false sense of security during EULA(silence), then blasts your ears off with bombastic choir, though audio options are easily accessible.

Ultrakill briefly lulls you into a false sense of security with a quieter music bite in their logo, before it plays a suddenly loud explosion sound effect and guitar riff.

Not the worst offender, but still loud music at max volume on title, an oddity for the series, Additional annoyance, does not use sound settings until after start menu.

Loud start, and doesn't allow you to adjust ingame volume until after character creator and cutscenes etc.

Post patcher, SUDDEN LOUD GUITAR. (not bad song otherwise.) (Make sure to hit apply after adjusting ingame volume, else nasty surprise.)
