It's always hard to follow up on greatness, which Resident Evil 7 was for survival horror. Sadly, Resident Evil Village failed... in being a good survival horror game — still a damn fine action game

The tone shift is like the pungent smell of blue cheese — it will either please or bring you unease. While in the latter camp, it didn't stop me from enjoying this cheese's rich and creamy gameplay.
