This game pulls out all the stops. It feels just like Max Payne, but deeper and more fleshed out. The gunplay is more satisfying with new ragdoll physics, and the narrative will engage you to the end.

Max Payne is a classic & moderately cheesy crime drama in the style of Film Noir. It's bullet-time mechanic allows for some truly epic slow motion gun battles and unforgettable action sequences.

Beautiful and exhilarating at times, this game presents exploration as an art. Abzu is well worth the experience, however short-lived. Take to the sea and become one with the ocean life.

Somewhat ahead of it's time and a more-than-worthy sequel to the unanimously praised Half-life. It employs a new engine, new gameplay mechanics, and an unsettling, but unforgettable narrative.

F.E.A.R. is a true horror game with a strong focus on it's FPS elements. It has some of the best gameplay mechanics and scary moments that I've seen in a first person shooter.

Technical issues notwithstanding, Fallout 3 brilliantly adapts the atmosphere and turn-based gameplay of classic Fallout and brings it to life in a first person shooter. "War never changes."

Though lacking ambition and somewhat derivative of it's predecessor, this game still manages to carve out a space of it's own as creatively loose re-telling of it's original counterpart, RE3: Nemesis.

A worthy rerelease of the beloved first entry in the Fable series, and the only one currently available on steam. Align with good, evil, or somewhere in between in this memorable action-adventure RPG.

Broforce is an outrageous mash-up of arcade brutality, pixel art destruction and action movie hero nonstalgia presented as a parody of it's macho subculture. What more could you ask for?

Sekiro is a stealthy hack-n-slash with souls-like elements. That being said, FromSoftware couldn't have done a better job. It's beautiful, macabre, and expectantly difficult to master. GOTY indeed.
