A no frill extremely fun Metroidvania

The bandwagoning is not entirely justified but $60 is maybe triple the cost of what a uninspired, tedious, albeit ambitious game.

Beautiful, immersive, fun. Just really, really short. Like REALLY short.

The game looks and sounds great, but the gameplay is a bit lacking. Still you should be able to justify its asking price.

While the game is definitely not finished, it is playable enough at this moment in time that it is possible to become immersed in its story and world.

While not the most polished game, we both agree that this was a fun distraction albeit a bit childish at times. If anything it's at least unique enough not to be forgotten.

On one hand, you have Sam consider this to be a solidly above platformer that is enjoyable from start to finish. On the other, you have Dana thinking this is a forgettable heavy-handed hugfest.

We can both agree that this game is well made and a master class in its genre, but given it's widespread acclaim you'd expect something at least playable for 99% of players.

When you try to make something so bad it's good, it can very easily become so bad it's bad. We both agree this game has little in the way of redeemable qualities.
