Beating all levels without getting hit feels like the “correct” way of playing Gun Devil. It has that hard, but short level design that benefits achievements and makes them more accessible.

LocalThunk really invented Solitaire in 2024. Getting all gold stickers is a 200+ hour adventure, but the game is so wonderful and addictive that you won’t even notice it. Perfect implementation.

ENA: Dream BBQ has a design that is as abstract as the game itself. Hard to judge. The fact that the only RNG achievement has a trick to it pushes us to a more favorable review (play it anyways).

Valley has some metroidvania-like elements where collecting all upgrades requires replaying levels. Speeding through maps is fun, so consider ignoring collectables/guides before you beat the game.

The challenge room is… quite a unique puzzle, but it doesn’t negatively affect the achievement design. Collect figurines, check a guide if you need to. Same design as all other 0 Deer Soft titles.

The achievement design of Stories: The Path of Destinies falls apart due to the agonizingly monotonous task of beating the same maps 25 times. Players shouldn’t be required to see all endings.

Dinosaurs in Place has the same gameplay and achievement design as Cats Organized Neatly. Beat the game without abusing the hint system to acquire the only “hard” badge. Dinosaurs are RAD.

Getting a gold ranking on Elite difficulty is intrinsically rewarding, as SteamWorld Heist has a high skill ceiling and expression on NG+. Farming rare hats for hours, however, sours the experience.

Stacklands adds achievements for content available in the main campaign + free DLC. You can download workshop mods or buy premium DLC afterwards. The design intentionally makes this a player choice.
