Greatly prefer the post-Origins era Assassin's Creeds games; however, this is worth a playthrough and no more. Especially if you enjoy Napoleonic and French Revolution era history.

Solid choice for your fan of the old school hex-based strategy games. Adds some cool features like leveling up your units and purchasing upgrades. The campaign story is an absolute abomination.

The classic. The OG. The timeless standard to which all other Total War games are inevitably compared. The other Age of Empires. And if Medieval times isn't your thing, countless mods await you.

Take a break from Total War and try this. Great TW alternative without all the that city management nonsense. Battles, battles, and battles. Earn money, buy guns, upgrade troops, then more battles.

The dream game for all of us growing up with Heroes of Might and Magic 2. Real-time, huge scale battles . RPG style heroes with loot and spells. All set in a gorgeously crafted fantasy world. DA BEST.

Mobile port RTS in the Warhammaer world. Polished look and has a cool dynamic especially(maybe only) if you're a Warhammer fan. Log in, set something to build for a day, log out. P2W-ish but not bad.

Hex style, Slytherine games turn based strategy. Love it, but paced very slow with missions taking up to a couple hours. Warhammer-esque fantasy with troop upgrades, heroes, rpg-lite qualities. 8/10

Despite it's age, the game is fantastic. Probably the greatest naval battles of the series and the land battles add a whole new strategy dimension to those used to sword and bow.

Could have been great, but appears the money has been taken and run with. Doomed to float amongst the bleak recesses of the forgotten corners of Early Access never to see the likes of an update again.

Punchy, fast paced C&C-style RTS complete with Heavy Metal and Scud Launchers. No campaign which is meh, but between skirmish and challenge mode you should be able to scratch that late 90's RTS itch.
